Accessibility Statement for Fit & Fuel 365

O/A Fit & Fuel 365
Last updated: 2025-11-23

Fit & Fuel 365 is committed to providing a website and online experience that is accessible and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that health, fitness, and nutrition resources should be available to all, and we are continually working to improve the accessibility of our digital content.

Our Commitment

Our goal is for fitandfuel365.com and all associated online services to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

We also aim to align our practices with applicable accessibility legislation, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), where required.

Measures We Take

To support accessibility, Fit & Fuel 365:

  • Integrates accessibility considerations into the design and development of new pages and features.

  • Uses accessible design principles when choosing layouts, colors, fonts, and interactions.

  • Reviews our site periodically using manual checks and automated tools.

  • Provides training and guidance to team members and contractors involved in website content and development.

Accessibility Features on Our Website

We have implemented (and continue to improve) the following features to support accessible use:

  • Text alternatives for non-text content

    • Descriptive alt text is added to meaningful images, icons, and graphics to support screen reader users.

  • Keyboard accessibility

    • Navigation menus, buttons, links, and forms are designed to be reachable and operable by keyboard alone (e.g., using the Tab, Enter, and Arrow keys) without requiring a mouse.

  • Readable and consistent design

    • Clear headings and logical content structure.

    • High-contrast color combinations where feasible.

    • Legible font choices and sizes.

    • Predictable navigation patterns across pages.

  • Accessible forms and inputs

    • Form fields include associated labels where possible.

    • Error messages aim to be clear, specific, and easy to understand.

    • Where applicable, instructions are provided to help users complete forms successfully.

  • Responsive and device-friendly layout

    • Content is designed to reflow for different screen sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile) to reduce the need for horizontal scrolling.

Assistive Technologies

Our website is designed to work with commonly used assistive technologies, including:

  • Screen readers

  • Screen magnifiers

  • Speech recognition software

  • Operating system and browser accessibility settings (e.g., high contrast modes, zoom, larger text)

If you use assistive technology and encounter any barriers, please let us know so we can review and address the issue where possible.

Ongoing Improvement & Known Limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. While we strive to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA, some content or older pages may not yet fully conform.

Possible limitations may include:

  • Older or third-party content (e.g., embedded videos, widgets, or tools from external providers) that we do not fully control.

  • User-generated content or documents (e.g., PDFs) that may not always be fully accessible at the time of upload.

When we are notified of an issue, we will:

  1. Acknowledge your feedback,

  2. Investigate and identify the barrier, and

  3. Work toward a reasonable solution or alternative format, where feasible.

Requesting Support or Alternative Formats

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of our website or need information in another format (for example, a PDF in a more accessible version), please contact us. Where reasonable, we will work with you to provide the requested content in an alternate accessible format or assist you in completing a task (such as booking a session or purchasing a product).
